A new update is available for the Hema HX-1 Navigator that enables users to download the latest street mapping for Australia and new points of interest from Hema and Camps 9.
Available for download over Wi-Fi to every Hema HX-1 Navigator, the Drive mode update allows Navigator users to get the latest Q2 Australia-wide street mapping from HERE, which features updated data for a number of areas.
For those in search of amazing campsites without the cost, HX-1 users can now also download the latest budget camping POI and site images from Camps 9. Camps 9 features more sites than ever before – over 4000 free and low-cost campsites, caravan parks, stations stays and more – including over 3000 pet-friendly sites and 2700 site images to help you easily plan the perfect adventure with insightful and up-to-date campsite information.
This update also includes the latest Hema POI, which covers a massive 28 POI types across accommodation, services, facilities, information and supply points throughout Australia’s off-road areas.
The latest update also fixes known bugs in Drive mode, including town entry points being falsely noted as speed cameras and fuel stations incorrectly labelled as being open 24 hours.
The initial download enables WiFi updates for Drive mode content on your HX-1, after which you can go to Updates in Drive mode (open the main menu from the map screen, scroll down and tap Updates) and tap Download on all new updates to get the latest street mapping and point of interest data on your HX-1 Navigator.
